Winter wellbeing event

Get  help to keep warm at the Winter Wellbeing Event!

We all know that the best way to get through winter is to keep warm. However sometimes we don’t know how to seek the help.

That’s why Norwich City Council is working in partnership with Age UK to hold a winter wellbeing event aimed to help people prepare for the cold in the winter months. This is a great opportunity to find out about local services. The event is at Blackfriars Hall at 11am to 1pm on Wednesday the 7th October.

There will be knits to keep you cosy, cake, raffle prizes to be won and food delivery services for you to taste! You can book yourself in for a health training session and bring your bills to sign up to the Norwich Big Switch and Save. There will be Charites offering money advice; offers on home improvements. You will be able to get fit with fun free extend chair aerobics taster sessions and much more.

So why not come along for cake and a natter and learn some more about what Norwich has to offer for the winter months.

Mental Health services - have your say

Are you a Carer, or do you care for someone who uses the services of the Norfolk & Suffolk (mental health) Foundation Trust?

NSFT is hosting a series of workshops across Norfolk. These are aimed at giving service users a bigger say in how future services are developed. This is part of their Engagement & Involvement Strategy.  Download the information sheet:  pdf Mental Health service user meeting Improving services together (611 KB)

The Norwich workshop is 25th August, and is hosted at the Quakers’ Meeting House, Upper Goat Lane, Norwich, NR2 1EW.
